Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"My advice is to fully understand the position, in addition to examining the work environment beforehand. Know exactly what you are getting into - the requirements, and a thorough overview of everything that is expected of you (based on the criteria to meet). Also, inquire heavily on what management expects."

What don't you like about working at Blue Cross Blue Shield?

"I witnessed several instances of unfair office politics. I have seen many co-workers get away with rule-breaking and never get reprimanded. I also disliked the strict corrective action policy that management implemented towards their team members (a policy that issues warnings to team members each time they make any mistakes towards their assignments, even if the team members are excellent, skilled workers who follow all rules). This made my work experience miserable at times."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I suggest that they allow much more room for workers/team members to better grow and develop, without issuing corrective action steps and/or warnings each time they make one mistake during any assignment, especially if they successfully complete other assignments and/or tasks that produce excellent results."
