Job Description:
Under general supervision of a Certified Prosthetist, processes measurements, CAD models, physical models and general clinical instructions into a CAD representation suitable for manufacturing of a custom-made Prosthetic or Orthotic device. Assumes the role of a technical expert in the field of Prosthetic and Orthotic CAD.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct socket, liner, and/or orthotic device CAD design and technical support for custom products and outsourced fabrication.
- Provide clinical and technical support to customers via email, telephone, screensharing, and other various media.
- CAD Design in various software environments with focus on solutions to clinical challenges
Qualifications:
- Technical Vocational or Bachelors’ degree in a relevant field of education.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Self-motivated and dependable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well as a team member and leader.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks in an efficient manner.
- Some experience in a manufacturing environment would be helpful.
- Strong knowledge of Prosthetic componentry and individual applications.
- Experience using CAD systems, i.e. Össur Design Studio, Rodin 4D, SolidWorks.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to utilize current digital media networking and computer programs for purpose of education & support.
- Superior problem-solving abilities.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $22.16 - $27.00 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
