"being overlooked for promotions, failure to get a payraise for 2 yrs. having team constantly being shuffled to a different manager every year."

"I would use active listening skills to attempt to understand the team and the various technologies that i'm in charge of."

"If you need the experience then yes... come here, BUT remember to get in and get out. Don't stay here unless you have nothing else going for you."

"Extreme budget cuts! There's always a shortage of supplies! Always have to wait for things to be restocked!!"

"I wouldn't talk to the employees like they we're my servants."

"Currently, I like making my own schedule and working from home one day a week."

"Inquire about the perks to the job. Inquire about the training and skill advancement so that one might have opportunity to raise oneself in ones career. Inquire about the opportunities for advancement."

What don't you like about working at Kindred Healthcare?

"There doesn't seem to be any opportunity for advancement. I haven't had a yearly evaluation in over 2 years and this makes me not feel like I know where I stand. The yearly evaluation is an important event for me."

"I would probably feel much better as a consultant for sure."

"Pay is better that others, benefits are better that most"

"Get it in writing, they will offer many things and actually come through on few"

"Productivity and revenue is all that matters, you can actually be terminated for less than 80 % productivity"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop back stabbing. Management is two faced, you will get tossed around many times and never get an honest answer."

"I have been with the company for 11 years. I like my job very much. The work that I perform in billing and then collecting what I bill is very satisfying. I also enjoy mentoring my staff."

"Dress professional and come prepared with questions that you have for the hiring manager."

What don't you like about working at Kindred Healthcare?

"Up until recently, I have not had a complaint. However, I was laid off. This would be my only complaint that the industry was down and therefore I was laid off."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make sure that you work well with your staff and uplift them. Make sure your staff is fully trained and capable of handling situations without you there. Always promote team work and always listen for suggestions on how work can be completed more efficiently."

"Kindred is a large company, which unfortunately, at times, puts senior management in positions that they are not qualified for, which can result in ethical issues."
