"Know what area of town you want to work and ask for that area so you don't have to commute long distances."

"The staff at the headquarters did not have field experience to provide the necessary support we needed."

"Have staff personnel spend a few hours if not days out in the field to gain the feel on how they fit in the realm of the over all picture."

"It was my first construction management job, and they helped me form some great habits. Also, rapid promotion for strong team members."

"Run away."

What don't you like about working at Lennar?

"My region was a bit cut throat. Also, middle management kept denying the market collapse, even after it was happening. They're either liars, or totally blind- either way, not good qualities for division presidents!"

"Quit life."
