"All in all, McDonald's was a good place to work. It teaches you patience, structure and hard work."

"I've been working for McDonald's since 2007 and my experience working with them has made me become a better person as far as being a leader! I'm able to run a store on my own and I'm certified and licensed. Many opportunities are given once you've worked for McDonald's, opens doors to other great experiences you may want to pursue."

"McDonald's is a great career path for the self motivated and driven employee. It offers a lot of opportunity for advancement quickly. I am an assistant manager and GM in training. I started when I was 16 and it has taken me 6 part time years and one full time year to get to where I am now. The hours can be long and the pay is slightly too low but the overall quality of life isn't bad."

"I was a manager at a Gettysburg McDonalds and this was indeed a positive growth experience as I now have business management experience. This is a great starter job for a young person looking to go into a management field."

"This place is absurdly awful. The stench in the back room is irritating. The smell hurts me and my fellow workers. This one time I passed out on the floor and fell into cheeseburger and fry grease. I say this business deserves to be shut down or cleanly sanitized by the sanitation police. If this fast food restaurant is not shut down immediately I will close it down myself. I hope you and your fellow citizens take this under precaution as soon as you see this message."

"A very fast paced environment, and a very friendly environment, good for the first job, there is a possibility to move up to manager level. Managers are usually very nice. and you will eventually burn out. But as I said, good for the first job."

"McD's is as McD's does. It is not the worst place you can work at, and it's not the best. There's good stuff and bad stuff. What they like to call a "mixed bag". It's usually pretty easy, ya just gotta pay attention and do the same things every day. Lower those expectations and the anger just melts away! Speaking of melting, working in the grill area is hot, cramped and demanding. THIS IS A JOB, SONNY JACK! IT AIN'T CALLED "SHOW UP AND GET PAID!". YOU GOTTA EARN YOU DAT MONEY. RONALD MC DON'T JUST GIVE IT AWAY! McDonalds is a place to work where you will get paid and do a job. Whether you cry yourself to sleep at night, or just douse your soul with apathy is purely up to you."

"I've worked at McDonald's for a year. I would recommend working for McDonald's for business, not as a cook, customer service at a restaurant."
