"This is one of the nation's largest insurance companies. It's difficult to say if this is the right company for you or not, as every person's situation is unique. Company-wide, this is a very strong, stable company that even in times of recessions, still manages to stay fiscally strong."
"I've learn a lot from Nationwide, They hired me as manual tester but trained me for automation, which I really enjoyed!"
"Great company with great company culture."
"The company was wonderful to work for and quite flexible."
"Very good profile everywhere and kudos from managers and team lead and co workers."
"I have worked with Nationwide for 10 years. I have held 3 different roles in that time."
"Good benefits, positive culture, contributes to community; as a mutual company, not driven by short-term shareholder profits. Leadership has integrity. I worked in IT and found that part of the organization to be well run. Office spaces are pleasant."
"I have worked in Nationwide Insurance for 4 years. The company has been very accommodating of my ambitions in my career. They have always given me the choice of what I want to do and how I want to grow from a career perspective. I feel my thoughts and suggestions have been heard and honored. My relationship with my co workers have been great. I get all the help I need in order to get my job effectively with quality. The work ethic in Nationwide is amazing. It is another home."
"I felt like I was living in the movie 'office space'. In 2013!!!"
"I have worked here for 2 years and loved the work style here."
"Ethical.Great work life balance.Very slow decision making. Not very competitive compensation."
"If you are a Nationwide employee NW is NOT on your side. They do NOT care about people, they DO care about money! If you are a good kiss backside you would move up within this company quickly. NW loves its ego stroked! At NW it's all about being FAKE. They teach you what to say and not to say, if you don't it affects your raise! So be FAKE, don't expect them to be flexible. If your child gets sick at school or daycare NW makes it unbelievably hard to leave the office. There is NO flexibility! At Nationwide you are treated more like a computer than a person. You are just a number at NW. Job is very unrewarding. NW employees' morale is at an all time low, you can feel your mood drop the moment you walk into the doors! Upper management is to blame for making Nationwide a horrible, unhappy work place!"
"Great place, would work there again. :)"
