"NBC was an interesting company to work at with some great people who were happy to share their experience and ideas. Things changed when Comcast bought the business and while they were transparent at first everything changed at the end and people over the age of 60 were no longer needed. I bear no hard feelings and wish everyone in Denver the best of luck."
"In my three years at ANBCUniversal, I’ve found the company to value it’s employees and it’s mission of practicing strong Journalistic ethics and standards. This is demonstrated through the company’s code of conduct."
"I’ve been at NBCUniversal since 2016. While I enjoyed the first couple of years, many things have changed. Large overhead investments have caused lots of cost cutting. Any chance to save money is taken and employees are left with the difficult situations due to minimum staffing. It is a good place to get started but not a place to develop a legacy."
"Lack of focus and dependability. Team members have little to no value to the company and they have trouble hiring the right people for the type of jobs in which they are qualified for. They also suffer from the 'fail up' system."
"I worked for NBCUniversal for 14 years and enjoyed all of those. I bail-out projects and met deadlines. Lead green-field / lift-&-shift development on public cloud AWS. Discover business processes, re-engineer and propose solutions. Implemented applications with various integrations with corporate systems successfully. Earn the trust of developers and leadership. Became a go-to leader for large scale projects."
"Solid company. Looking for new opportunities"
"NBC Universal is a great company to work for. They value the employee and their families with good health benefits and time off in addition to 401K matching and a lot of resources to help you with your wellness overall."
"Just awesome. Nice place and people."
"I interned with NBCUniversal and my time there was beneficial and productive. The environment was laid back, the employees were friendly and helpful, and my supervisor did well at her position, in my opinion. The work could get tedious and lacked in challenging myself. However, it was a good experience all around."
"Not much to complain about."
"I worked as a Freelancer for NBCUniversal for nine months and made many connections and learned an immense amount of knowledge and skills from working there."
"I've worked at WCAU since 2016. Most of the time, I felt valued, but my biggest drawback is the difficulty in moving up within the company. As someone who doesn't like to be pigeonholed and looks for challenges, this was a problem."
"I work for a global company with hundreds of thousands of employees but they always make sure I feel valued as a employee. They are a innovative company ."
"During my time at USH, I have had the ability to gain new experience and grow professionally. the company culture is what sets USH apart and I would recommend anyone who has the drive to succeed to apply and launch their career."
"I have been with NBC for over 5 years in have worked in various capacities. I understand the full picture of how a large scale company brings programs to life on all sides of the fence: most importantly, from the perspective of the brand and the consumer. I am a dedicated manager, leading with enthusiasm and encouraging autonomy and ownership from my direct reports."
