Outback Steakhouse Employee

What do you like about working at Outback Steakhouse?

"The fast pace made the days seem to go by fast. I liked the interacting with customers and employees at Outback."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Show personality and dress nice. So many applicants come in looking like scrubs, and I never called them back just based on how they presented themselves."

What don't you like about working at Outback Steakhouse?

"I didn't like the long hours, and the lack of upper corporate support. You were left on your own to run the rest when the proprietor is MIA. There was no accountability for the proprietor. There was lots of stress and no family life if you take an FOH position."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Hold everyone accountable. Be fair to management. Being a proprietor doesn't mean you take extra days off and schedule your one manager to close every night. All this was told to RVP and nothing was done."
