"I really enjoyed working for Schlumberger. I was recently laid off due to the downturn we are currently experiencing. One thing that I enjoyed about the company was how hard the people worked although this work seemed overwhelming. I did not like how there wasn't really that much of a work/life balance."
"I worked with Schlumberger for 3 years and it is a company where you can grow professionally and their work environment is great."

"I worked for Schlumberger for almost 8 years and I pretty much started from the bottom and worked my way up. The only reason I was laid was due to the volatile oil & gas industry. I would recommend them to anybody looking to gain valuable experience."
"I worked at Schlumberger in the legal department and believe it is a world-class team of attorneys. There are many advancement opportunities, as well as the chance to work internationally. The quality of work and the people with whom you work with are top notch. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to apply to work there."
"I have worked for Schlumberger for 11 years. Throughout this time I have been blessed with countless opportunities for professional and personal growth and industry leading training."
"Worked for Schlumberger as a field engineer for a year, and although the training is exceptional, you don't get to apply much of the knowledge that you learn in the actual job. The hours are very long and the schedule was a 14/7 rotational schedule. I don't regret getting the opportunity to work for them but it isn't for everyone."
"A great company to build your experience and develop important skills for the workplace. The culture is work hard, play hard and you will be put to test plenty of time and are expected to be independent. In short, a very intensive and satisfying experience, combined with lifetime friendships."
"Very good experience in the company."
"schlumberger is a company with a very adequate staff training capacity, the human warmth of each employee is very good and their product and the service that is sold always demands that it be of quality. With this the staff that works has a very great value for the comfort"
"I interned for Schlumberger for a summer rotation on their operational base in the Ecuadorian Amazon. They provide excellent training and a detailed path for growth."
"I started working at SLB following the completion of my Master's degree in Geophysics. I was fortunate to enter into a strong group with an excellent manager. The team was able to quickly assist in bringing me up to speed as a useful and independent member of the group. Over the next seven years, I was able to help others in the same way my group helped me when I first arrived. The bond we were able to create within that group shows me what a great working environment can be."
"It's an oversell. Not interested in seeing employees develop."
