"This is a large company and sometimes the HR teams are not very knowledgeable about roles. The hiring manager has all of the power of hiring."

"Too big. Too many divisions. Too many changes to plans and organization."

"Make and stick with plans for many years. Make people accountable. Stop the reorganization with the current frequency."

"I didn't like my opportunities for growth. I also didn't like the industry I was working in."

"Create a structured training program and actually stick to it."

"I work with some smart, talented people. Only thing to keep you going."

"Go find a real company that treats it's employees like human beings."

"The management is useless. Since they have never done the work (that they expect from us) they have no idea of the problems we have trying to do our work, whether it is systems issues, lousy designs (since apparently the sales people don't know what they are doing either) or any other issues we might have. In the words of a wise man, If I didn't build the house, I won't know how to fix the problems."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Fire all of the managers that did not work their way up through the company. If they had actually done the work, they might have some empathy towards their employees."

"The people I work with are great, people in the shop are helpful."

"You need to find a better place to work. This is a miserable/constant grind..."

What don't you like about working at Schneider Electric?

"Company politics are crap, we have so many systems even our managers don't know what is going on. Systems are constantly having issues that never seem to get fixed but we still have to produce (Everyone is our customer but we are NOBODY'S customer) We have even been told we have to fix our own problems plus do our regular work."

"Do our job then you will understand the issues. Take some time in our shoes."

"Support and trust to do the job on time and in budget."

"No. Each have to stand on there own experience and merits."

"No opportunity for advancement. All tooling began to be outsourced."

"Bring tooling back from overseas to improve quality and lead time."

"Many of the people are great and very talented. The products and the markets served can be intriguing. The flexibility is good."

"Old school big company politics. Not enough high tech focus."

"Nothing to mention. Communication between the sales and the service department to be improvised."

"Make sure you ask tons of questions to the person you will be shadowing. The job may not be for you."

"Sitting at a desk all day. Key performance indicators were flawed."

"Make a bigger leap to changing the noticeably flawed KPI and other systems."

"The outlook for the company, growth and work load are great; never have to worry about the lack of work from week to week."

"I really like everything about my current company and situation just looking to move my family."
