"they have preferred people that they treat better than others.no technology, and often encourage the sales staff to lie and cheat the customer"

"Learn To not be so biased to the men and to men of color, do not give a black or latino man the ghettos because of their color for a territory and please promote more than one black or latino person in a city"

"It's like running your own business. You are fairly autonomous."

What don't you like about working at YellowBook?

"The company is in internal turmoil. Communication is poor, and procedures for the same tasks change without prior notice. Back office is making too many mistakes, and turnaround time on Internet products is too long. Products are being rolled out just to make up for lost revenue, and it's confusing reps and customers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Need a full review of internal procedures and processes. Stability needs to be given to the products before new ones are rolled out."

"During the last two year of my employment, Yellow Book was making many M&As and there were many challenges."

"When acquiring other companies, make sure that your employees that helped build and put your company in a position to M&As are truly looked after, as if they are your family!"

"I pretty much made my own schedule and was free to do my own business as I wanted. Life was great ."

"Beware of companies that churn 75% of their sales force in the first 90 days. There is a reason for it. Talk with the current employees first."

What don't you like about working at YellowBook?

"Hypocritical management was got caught with their pants down way too many times. Nepotism is a very bad thing but was rampant at this company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"You had a great business model and worked. Then you tried to fool Wall Street and found out that this is impossible to do. You can't put a bandaid on a severed artery. It will not work."

"Winning the President's Club in 2008 but the program was cancelled in 2009 due to recession."

"Only if you REALLY need the $"

What don't you like about working at YellowBook?

"They micro-mange you and supervise by threats.They dangle a promotion in front of you to perform better. For example-I was up for promotion for over a year. FFVery high turnover due to mis-mangement and sales qoutas assigned."

"Hire mangers who do not show bias towards reps and mange by intimidation."
