"I have worked for Zales for over 4 years and have seen the company grow from being on the eve of dissolve to back to profitability. Its great to be with a company that really took a hard look at itself and realized the course that needed to be taken to bring back the organization to a viable and competitive company."

"Developing the people under me. Seeing them grow in sales ability."

"Don't have any tips. This company is practically out of business now."
What don't you like about working at Zales?
"Theft. I managed jewelry stores and there was a lot of theft in the malls."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep stocks to a minimum to deter theft. Often there was too much merchandise in the cases and it was easy to break into them."
"I enjoyed working for Zales Jewelers, good management, training, good benefits, commision, but they were sold and I grasp the oppurtuity to better myself."

"Working with different customers everyday, being able to use my salesmanship to help people and to watch them walk away happy with their decision."
What don't you like about working at Zales?
"I didn't like the changes that were being brought about with the take over of the company. Since than Zales has not prospered like they did when it was owned by the Zales."

"Need to get back to the gtrass roots of how the company was built."

"The associates who work for the DM's. It's great to start someone on a career path and mprove their quality of life."

"Ask what your opportunities for growth are going to be. Ask for specifics."

"Absolutely no room for growth."

"There needs to be a career path. There are no opportunities."
