"The computer system was outdated and a new version was not coming for another year."

"Be more visible to your employees, step in, help out if you're needed. Do not get frustrated if the same question is asked more than once."

"The growth potential is tremendous! Product quality is outstanding. They really care about total service."

"Be honest and truthful, not only to the person conducting the interview but to yourself. It is okay to have goals. Set them and keep them."

"The long commute from Atlanta to Macon daily. It was really a hassle."

"Set clearly defined roles between morning and night supervisors. This would make changeover in the afternoons much more simple."

"Allowed for a wide variety of personal training such as Professional Chef Certification held at Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY."

"Be open, honest and sincere. There are so many opportunities for growth."

What don't you like about working at ARAMARK?

"It was the daily commute for Atlanta to Macon which as 1.5 hours."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get a manager through as much of the preliminary trainings as possible as to avoid a manager that has been a manager for a year going to an introduction to the company's philosophy training."

"I really don't think they care about their employees and so forth."

"Don't apply for this company. It won't do you any good to apply."

What don't you like about working at ARAMARK?

"They don't like giving raises and they don't care if employees leave early."

"Work with employees. Make employees stay and clean up after themselves."

"The mobility, not a desk job. Training and teaching people."

"The environments are exciting and the team approach is exciting as well."

"I was bored with the job. Most management didn't seem to care the purpose of my position."

"I would be more hands on and meet more employees."

"Car Allowance Manager never rides with you, because he can care less about what you do. He is lazy and never answers his phone!"

"Don't interview at the Dallas market center because it is sinking."

What don't you like about working at ARAMARK?

"Three General Managers in less than a year.The quality of the product and service is poor... worst I have ever seen in a company. They will raise the prices on their customers within months of signing them up. They try to sell a fixed price to customers, but the customer doesn't know that their service charge will raise from typically 9% to 30%+ hidden in their invoice. Horrible commission structure. Average scenario, you will get paid on a uniform account 10-14 weeks after you sign the deal. Customers quit Aramark so quick that the Salesperson will not get paid commission because the quality is so poor customers can't even make it 4 weeks through the audit period. Lack of management. The manager is too busy on conference calls and creating reports that he doesn't have time to train his employees. Not his direct fault though."

"Stop hiring below average employees/friends and you might keep your job for more than a year."

What do you like about working at ARAMARK?

"The Sports Entertainment Business is high volume, making this a challenging job. But we work as a team ensuring the job gets done with pride."

"Don't ask too many questions. They have standards and are set in their ways, so too many questions can be misinterpreted as not being a good follower."

What don't you like about working at ARAMARK?

"Seasonal work is 7 months out of year, so it is difficult to find work for only 5 months. Putting a stress on financial needs."

"More verbal accolades from management to boost morale of your culinary team."

"Company with a strong and talented base workforce, but with excessive overhead."

"There is a large potential for advancement since the company is multinational."

"Never accept the first salary offer. There is always room for negotiation. Always as prospective manager about client politics and fiscal responsibility."

"The focus is too much on profit and not on quality of service provided and regulatory compliance."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Simplify. There is too much duplicate reporting. Also reduce overhead personnel, particularly in departments generating inconsequential reports. Replace ISISPro."

"Be yourself and always be honest and upfront, as well as to ask questions about your role with the company."

"Your hands were tied when ordering parts, always had to have someone's approval and that limited ability to make the repair in a timely manner."

"Leave the engineers alone and let them do their jobs that they are so very good at."

"Fixing electronic medical devices and satisfying customers. Traveling to different hospital where I'm needed."

"Ask questions. How's the work environment? What hours per day do you work? Benefits?"

"Parts ordering and communications from management. There is no direction."

"To have a better understanding on how to order parts and support their field service engineers"

"There were not specific dislikes that I had while I worked there."

"Too many naive people in high positions making uneducated decisions."

"No longer employed at ARAMARK Corp., but I will say that I enjoyed working the staff and customers."

"Have a contract which clearly defines you job description, the review process, and a committment from ARAMARK to educate you in labor laws and discrimination."

What don't you like about working at ARAMARK?

"The decision making protocal was lame."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Do your homework before you make policy. Don't try to 'Cookie Cut' a national company. Be familiar with state labor laws."

"The flexibility to adjust according to the school district's schedule and Aramark."

"Working for Aztec as well as with Aramark is always going to be on a contract signed by the client/customer and employment could end at any point unless assigned to another account assuming they have an opening."

What don't you like about working at ARAMARK?

"No real advancement opportunities due to being a contract of only 3 years."

"Always be prepared to communicate on ways to keep and or extend account contract."

"Fun job to work in the concessions part of athletics."

"My Boss was very good and would give us a lot of freedom as long as we did the work in a quick and timely manner."

"To work hard and be prepared for 12 hour days and could be 6 days a week."

"The job itself was not great but for a college job it wasn't bad."

"Honestly there's really nothing I can suggest because there's nothing that could actually be changed."

"I like working with college students and the fast paced environment."

"I would say just be opened minded, they hire anybody."

"I do not like the work ethic that some of the higher management shows."
