"I worked for Baker Hughes for 39+ years before being laid off. I helped train numerous field hands to run jobs on their own. I provided my services to them 24 hours a day to help them with problems that they were having on the well site. I would help our engineers build procedures that were specific to our customers needs. I would help trouble shoot jobs. I would have pre- job meetings and post job meetings with Field Hands. I would over see their training and help them train on new assignments."

"Great company but oil and gas is highly volatile"
"Good company with lots of opportunities. Demanding hours but great results."
"Baker Hughes is a global company in oil and gas field. Unfortunately, it falls victim to supply and demand. When the market is good, their company profits. When the market crashes, the company has to lay off people. Because the company is so big, it has problems like any other company. The company has policies that each of the facilities has to abide by. Also, in the U.S. they have to abide by FMCSA & PHMSA regulations that become a challenge. The company tries to abide."
"Excellent place to work, team performance is what drives the organization"
