"Worked at Beckman (fomerly Hach Co.) for over 14 years. Good benefits but have to constantly be requesting COLA to keep up with average salary."

"Been with the company since the move from Polo Alto to Indianapolis. Was still in the manufacturing side, but after a couple years management progressively got worse. Management needs to be changed up and more informed with an ear to listen to take action on realistic goals from employees."

"I've worked for Beckman Coulter for over three years. The people are lovely, you can always go talk to your manager, but nothing will ever be done. They seem to actively work to keep people from improving things or moving up and reward people for causing problems that they will look good fixing. If desperate, its a job. But even if you land it, keep looking elsewhere!Pay (raises and bonuses in particular) are far below industry standards."

"The past 4.5 years have been an uphill battle to put it mildly. We continue to overly complicate day to day activities and struggle with implementing quality remedies to our product lines. Field based employees in the service and support rolls are not trusted to do the right thing and have very little work life balance. Not enough field personnel to support our valued customers. One day I am optimistic upper management will figure that out."

"Too much game-playing and bad treatment and culture, lots of favoritism by management. Find better place to work is doing yourself a great favor."

"Referenced in to work in end user support in 2003. I designed and implemented Network-Shared drives, technical processes and procedures along with Information security assessment and vulnerability remediation. I have worked on systems security implementations and deployments with an emphasis on end-user and customer support. Collaborated with remote corporate sites to deploy standardized company assets during an employee exchange program."

"Beckman Coulter was a good place to work, with a great working environment. The people, and management were extremely helpful, and responsive to the needs of the project. I would recommend Beckman Coulter to anyone looking for a company which they can work long term. The compensation, and benefits were great, as were the working conditions. My supervisor ended up becoming a dear friend that I still keep in touch with, even though he retired two years ago."

"Beckman Coulter was a great company. The turn-over rate was probably 15 years and I met many great minds there. Some of the scientists and engineers were just so eager to teach and mentor the younger employees."
