"I found my job as a software engineer was confined to implementing the decisions of others. Not a lot of room to design or improve on existing designs. Requirements were never solid and always revised frequently. Hard scheduled dates were meaningless, except as checkmarks. Requirements kept changing up to and past the date that the game was theoretically released to QA. They talk a lot about quality, but are not willing to commit anything towards achieving it except engineering overtime."
"Lots of fun, but did not learn much outside of what I did on my own time."
