"Great company to work for."
"Hired for a 1 year contract after 20 years US Navy, and 15 years private company. Was suppose to be my final job that I was "suppose" to enjoy for the remainder of my work career. I intended to stay, but Raytheon management has alot to be desired. There are 2 classes of people at Raytheon in Forest, MS, the elite, who are engineers (well they have the degree, but ability is lacking) and managers, and then everyone else. Management is rotated often, usually kids who are in college, or just out of college who never managed anyone before, without any formal training, from college or Raytheon, coming into tight knit work groups and destroying them, going from top of the building work to bickering, fighting, yelling, and its between the elites and the workers. The talent is treated like lowly employees. Management micro-manages your workday, down to be wrote up because you took a 20 min break when your entitled to only a 15 min break. Your work is done, they don't have any additional work for you, but you are required to look busy because your making others look bad. Work group manager like to micro manage, since they really don't have anything to do, well, except to micro manage everyone. Work ethics are militaristic like, but after satisfying my 1 year contract, I left quickly. Raytheon isn't looking for talented long term professionals, they want minion like workers who obey their every command."
"I’ve been with Raytheon Technologies for almost 2 years. Since I’ve been with Raytheon, I have been blessed to have an excellent working environment, coaching opportunities, and mentoring opportunities. Raytheon is a company that is devoted to both the customer, and the employee; they’re truly a great company to work for."
"I've interned at Collins Aerospace summer of 2020. Overall it is a delightful experience, good upper management, good human resources department support. Would recommend to anyone who is wishing to work there! The pay and personal development opportunity there won't have me complained!"
