"I have worked for Sodexo at the GlaxoSmithKline Site since May 2012. In that time frame they have exoposed me to other departments and challenged me to step outside my comfort zone. My background is Production Print and now I handle that on top of Records, Pest Control, Grounds keeping and Housekeeping. Dealing with multiple vendors, clients and employees has prepared me for this position. I worked in Finance in New York so I was put into the fire from the start."

"In general, we have good communication with other managers, and support is available when needed"

"It is a great company to work for. One should find plenty of opportunities in advancement."

What don't you like about working at Sodexo?

"I don't like having to travel long distances to some accounts."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They should continue doing when they are doing, taking care of the employees under their supervision, and the clients they are serving."

"An opportunity to supervise the Maintenance Technicians and Janitors and to provide guidance to these workers."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"They will go through basic interview and will ask questions on different types of scenarios (for example, you had an argument with a janitor and what are the steps to take in order to keep good working relationship, and so forth)."

What don't you like about working at Sodexo?

"The workplace is in same Henkel Corporation building and it is very difficult to work there, especially after getting laid off by Henkel Corp. Sodexo's Management doesn't communicate with me in great details and never offer any types of training."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"As for Sodexo's Management, they need to learn to communicate with their staff and make sure their staff are working correctly without any issues and always offer advices and help when beginning-level managers are having difficulties."
