The organization is very ethical and has avoided the pitfalls that most other banks were guilty of during the sub-prime era. Also, the organization still offers a pension. "Union Bank is a good company to work for in contrast with many other retail banking. The management however are more conservative and it is not very easy to be exposed to opportunities and different fields of expertise. Good compensation though."

"Coworkers as people. The managers. The benefits. Talking to some of the customers."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you just need a job for money then work here. Otherwise, you're better off someplace else."

What don't you like about working at Union Bank?

"The executive management sucks. I would not recommend any friends/family to work or do business with UB. Lots of double talk; they say one thing but they never back up their words."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Establish a true identity, stop lying to the employees, bring the bank up to date in terms of tech, be competitive, communicate more with the employees."
