"I understand that Apex will not support you if your client abuses you or behaves inappropriately. However, after I left, the Account Manager and Recruiter began harassing me immediately to return the equipment. They wanted it back in less than a week. I gave a date that I would return it when I got back into town which was less than 1 week after my last day. I returned the equipment on the day I promised. The account Mgr and Recruiter did not BOTHER to check with the client to see if the items were returned using the tracking numbers they gave me. Instead, they threatened to ESCALATE (LOL!) the issue. This is absurd for several reasons - one is that the return was already done and the other is that, as we all know, there is no recourse if your remote employees do not return their equipment. Law Enforcement will not pursue it for sure. A civil lawsuit will cost you a thousand times more than the equipment. A small claims court will laugh you out of the courtroom if you say you did not even give the person a full week to return the items. Why would Apex Systems attack someone and assume the worst of them when they have no reason whatsoever to do so - when the person has not given any reason to assume that they will behave irresponsibly or unprofessionally? YOU are the ones behaving unprofessionally and unethically. Stop it."
