"Working with AT&T overall was a very positive experience for me. I learned how to work within a team, my strengths as well as weaknesses. My co-workers helped to make the workplace more enjoyable aside from the many pressures of working in a call center environment. Best part of the job was being able to assist customers with their technical issues and insuring the service they're paying for is working. Like any call center there's always the ups and the downs."

"I started out working for Directv and it was acquired by ATT but the culture changed and corporate politics took over. The morale is low and the exodus of amazing talent has been going on for a while."

"I've worked for AT&T for 7 years, the first 4 years with DirecTV before being acquired by AT&T. I have been able to develop deep expertise in numerous business domains and gained a new perspective on IT from a large business perspective."

"I worked wit Directv / AT&T for The lion-share of the past 6 years. I have enjoyed all of the opportunities The company offered by way of allowing me the freedom to learn and grow in each of my roles. The last role allowed me to bring to bear, all of my QA skills together to create a QA department from scratch, as well as build a lab for the QA team. I was honored that the leadership trusted my knowledge and ability to create an environment that allowed the team to become even more productive than they had before."

"At&t is a great place to work. There’s so much going on at all times and you can get involved in almost anything you want to. My manager was always great because he would ask me where I wanted my career to go, then they would help me push my workload in that direction."

"AT&T/Directv has been a great learning experience. There have been a lot of opportunities to grow and even participate in patent-pending product development. Salary is commensurate with experience. Their greatest asset is their people."

"I have been working at ATT/DirecTV since 2010. DirecTV days were lean, innovative and fast paced. ATT is slower, top heavey and beaureaucratic, so essentially, projects that should take six months now take years."

"My Experience with ATT has been challenging and makes me interested in what I do every day. I have evolved with the growing pains of the organization adapting with the changes not limiting to technology, culture, and leadership. The enormous size of any organization may pose a challenge to any individual, however, I have been on focussed and high profile projects which have assisted me to understand the nature of business and its core values."

"This place is coming apart at the seams. AT&T thought they could branch in to the media business, but they have no idea what they are doing. I am sure there are other parts of the business that are doing well (e.g., mobile), but I would run away from the Entertainment Group!"
