Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Expect to be challenged each and every day while working for AT&T. It's challenging, but generally rewarding."
What don't you like about working at AT&T?
"Frankly, decisions made at the higher levels of management have made the position challenging (in the sense that those decisions don't seem to be consumer-friendly, while our role as technicians is to provide customer service)."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to the boots on the ground. Field Technicians were once considered to be the eyes and ears of the company!"
"I really liked my job at AT&T but felt that the efficiency program wasn't a fair assessment of an employee's true skills."
"AT&T Global Communications was a good job, company not managed as well as it could have been."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"ATT is a terrible place to work."

"Management needs to be terminated because of its lack of concern for its staff."
"I got out while I still could."
What do you like about working at AT&T?

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Telecom is breathing its dying breath, thank God!"
What don't you like about working at AT&T?
"If you are in middle management, you are treated like a salary slave: 14-hour days because too many others are dropping the ball. If you have a single iota of responsibility, you will be abused until you're broken. Most upper management seems to be concerned with lining their pockets. The Union needs to go, too... this isn't the 1920's!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If you supervise, listen to your key non-management people. They are the backbone of the company, despite the Union Hacks and loafers in Union positions of power. If you're a salaried employee, don't become a salary slave and learn to say no."
"AT&T, Cingular, SBC... It's a great company."
What do you like about working at AT&T?
"I enjoyed getting into the wireless arena when it just began. Lots of room for growth and advancement."
What don't you like about working at AT&T?
"As the company grew larger, commissions were capped. This isn't much of an incentive for a salesperson."
