Banner Health Employee Reviews for Program Manager

"I've worked for Banner for more than 12 years. There used to be a sense of community and camaraderie reflective of a non-profit company. However, the past 5 years it has been more about becoming the biggest rather than the best. Employee recognition has been virtually eliminated and advancement is now unheard of unless you are part of the "in" crowd. They no longer provide travel or reimbursement of any kind for improvement classes, courses or seminars. Leadership continues to collect bonuses but those on the front lines barely get a 2% increase. For the first time in 12 years I am updating my resume to apply outside of the Banner system. Shame on Banner for behaving more like a for-profit company and losing sight of what really counts."
