"The job was fun for the first 2 months and there was a big learning curve initially. But the work become repetitive over a period of time and the management wasn't very keen about meeting interns' expectations. Training was given occasionally, but wasn't well structured and organized. The LTE division that I worked for was on a downward slope and was closed down a few months after I completed my internship."
"The work was monotonous and there was little opportunity to grow. Pressure was less than many other companies."
"Good company, works on core technology, nice and talented employees."
"I worked at Broadcom as an Intern for about 6 months. The experience was quite fruitful as I had the opportunity to work hands-on with devices and set up remote testing stations. I also had the opportunity to learn about WLAN protocols and understand the development cycle used by the company. Automation testing was another important learning experience."

"This company grew up designing great HW products. The new standards for wireless end up requiring more SW - a lot more. The senior management - many with great engineering backgrounds - simply do not have the training or experience to develop larger scale embedded systems.
