"Inadequate training and very poor focus on direction"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Middle Management is OK but upper management does a very very poor job of making the vision reality. Everyone knows it's name but has no idea what it is."
"Not the worst organization to work for but not the best either."
What do you like about working at Compuware?
"Compuware was flexible and forgiving about assignments. I was on an assignment and had vacation plans -- I walked out of that assignment and went on vacation for one month and there were no repercussions about it. In a couple of months after my return I was back on assignment -- one that lasted nearly three years."
What don't you like about working at Compuware?
"Pay was inadequate, inability to find work in my locale. It seems in two regional markets (one of them mine) CPWR got itself blacklisted and was unable to recover from that. They withdrew their presence in one of those markets and are about out of the other one."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Integrate products & services more closely. When possible let services lead the way - they are used to figuring out client's real problems and know how to solve them."

"Being expected to find my own contracts."

"Professional Services Delivery teams must be under a Delivery Managers not Account Managers because their focus is sales."
