"I worked for Convergys for a short time because I could not handle the incompetent trainers who clearly hated their jobs or thought they were cool because they became popular enough to move up the ladder. My trainer clearly had zero knowledge of what he was actually doing. He just read directly off the slides and could not answer a single question about the work place. I am happy I got out."

What don't you like about working at Convergys?
"Being treated as if I'm just another body to fill in a space. I've notice that the turnover rate is really high, and employees are treated as if we really aren't needed. It's more like a in-between-jobs environment at best, and can really use some improvements. I come from bigger companies that offer a to pay for benefits so this was really a shock for me to have to pay for them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The training program could use a lot of improvement. The criteria wasn't really presented that good. The trainers should should be replaced as they have been in their positions too long and have taken the job for granted and don't really teach the reps on what to expect. they just touch on the subject instead of going over it."
