What do you like about working at Domino's Pizza?
"The company has some good ideas, the problem is that it isn't implemented properly. As the assistant manager, I can say it's doing better than most pizza companies right now. It has good policies and a satisfaction guarantee that surpasses that of any restaurant I have ever managed. The training is top-notch and you will attend several training courses and pep rallies to motivate and train you in their guidelines."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Come dressed up professionally, print your resume on the thicker resume paper, and be honest. I had to fire too many people because they lied on their resume. It is never a pleasant experience."
What don't you like about working at Domino's Pizza?
"Before you become an assistant manager, you start off as a crew chief or shift leader. As a shift leader, you have to work as one for three to five months whilst having the EXACT SAME responsibilities as the assistant managers and general managers. Finally, when they go to interview you to promote you, you must have an open availability 24/7 to travel to any store. I'm sorry, but I can't run to a store at 11 at night to close. I have my own problems and responsibilities in life to be solving someone else's. They expect too much from people."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I was management. Find something better and quit. There are better opportunities out there."
"Work hard, little in return."
"Nice environment to start at."
