"Have been with Fujitsu for 4 years and supported the significant growth in winning and operating the managed services business, winning large scale managed services deals with Fortune 500 companies. Found the company to be very focused on winning new business but struggling to apply the Japanese concepts of operations to American customers."

What do you like about working at Fujitsu?

"My co-workers were highly skilled IT specialists. They were very task oriented and willing to share information."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be aware that career opportunities are limited even though you may be told otherwise. One has to indenture oneself to the company as a contractor before the company will consider hiring you full-time. The prospective candidate would be well-advised to work for a contracting agency that provides benefits. Three years (or more) is a long time to go without benefits or a vacation."

What don't you like about working at Fujitsu?

"The company prefers to use contractors. I presume this is so they do not have to pay benefits. This can be a problem if health and insurance benefits are a main consideration for the employee. Most people hired on full-time at Fujitsu have had to work a minimum of 3 years as contractors with no benefits (including no vacation time)."
