"Benefits are reduced every year. Productivity programs (HOS they call it) are stupid. It's supposed to be modeled after Toyota but they totally miss the point, and no one except management thinks it's a good thing but they have to."

"Reduce the number of management levels and not try to force productivity programs like they are some type of religion."

"Be aware of the risk of reorganizations and the always present risk of layoffs at the Albuquerque site. Most of the hiring is done through temporary agencies. I was brought in through Manpower Professional and worked two years before being hired directly."

"There is no local control of decisions and future. There is a constant turnover of managers."

"There needs to be a focused effort on simplifying the business model to focus on the core competencies and build strengths at the contract manufacturers."

"People are friendly. Designing and project managing are interesting and challenging. There is a daily need to communicate with other countries. I work with a team for implementing a new thermostat and am excited to see something I designed come to life."

"I feel like a number in a large company. Although my immediate boss has put in requests to hire me, the upper management has decided to freeze hiring for the time being."

"Stop outsourcing all of your jobs to other countries. There will come a day when it will make more sense to close shop here and take management to where the bulk of the employees are located."
