"Chase is a great company with a lot of potential if you are willing to put in the time at the bottom and work yourself up. It is more about how long you are with the company than about potential or prior work experience. That said, you have the ability and tools to grow, and the company has a plethora of supportive coworkers and leadership."

Working at JPMorgan in Fresno, CA: 2 Employee Reviews

Branch Manager

"Okay for the right person."

What do you like about working at JPMorgan?

"It is a great company to work for. However, I come from WAMU, that was purchased or taken over by JPMorgan Chase. WAMU needed some work and with the slow conversion form WAMU to Chase it seems to be steady. Soon we will be fully converted over and things should be much more improved."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be positive about an opportunity. Right now it can be a good thing to get in while it's in a change state, but it can also be very frustrating especially with senior management lost in there duties. Over all, if you get in, it's a job and can turn out to be the best thing you ever had. Good Luck."

What don't you like about working at JPMorgan?

"It's a great company. The only frustrating thing is that it is in a conversion stage in CA from WAMU to Chase. Some people are lost - can't give you a true complete answer today. However, one area I can is in the branch manager bonus potential. The branch manager bonus has been changed from a monthly incentive opportunity with WAMU to now a year-end incentive with Chase."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get rid of the California senior management or train them better in adjusting to a merger. The senior management in CA seems to take shared info delivered to them from Chase and are twisting it around and communicating it in a confusing manner to the entire CA operation - not only twisting info, but adding to it or changing it a bit, especially in central CA. District managers need to take a quick leadership class in being a change agent and delivery of information. They seem to be in a panic and do not represent themselves or the area professionally, mainly in the Fresno, CA, area."

What don't you like about working at JPMorgan?
