"KBR was a good company to work for. There was plenty of room for advancement. I worked in Iraq - a difficult assignment, but I could have advanced further."

"If you are young and aspiring, then this is the company for you. They are good. There is room for promotion. They don't always get a fair shake by the public/media. I would consider working for them again. Their salaries appear much lower than other locations. So, you need to know what you desire in life - a good career or money"

"I saw too many non-competent people promoted. There is favoritism shown, but can be considered 'fair' as well. Unfortunately, the supervisors that I worked for were always competent."

"Management I query how some of those people acquired their positions. I respect the senior-most people. However, I am not sure about others."

"You have to be a workhorse; hours were a minimum of 84 hours a week, and away from family a lot. Due to my various positions, I made it home two times a year."

"My dislikes are due to the extensive amount of stress that comes with running projects ranging from $500K-$600M, and that management is fairly short-fused."

"Be more willing to listen rather than to criticize your employees."
