"Poor management skills with the Head of Stock due to toxic work environment and unhealthy work conditions. The Head of Stock is not inclusive and not in favor of diversity. He is toxic and is difficult to work with."
"The company is good in terms of job content but the senior manager I was working with was highly unprofessional, rude and lacked emotional intelligence. At the time I retired, he left the department to become the manager of stock registrar. This manager actually told me that he does not believe in diversity and gender equality. We are in the 21st century…."
"Kiewit is a great company to work for. Everyone, that I have worked with, are happy to help and make new employees feel like part of the team on day 1. They provide many opportunities development and have a healthy work-life balance."
"kiewit company is a good safety and money maker company to work for it."
"I worked for Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. for around a year and a half starting right out of college. I learned a great deal from this company because not only did they have great systems in place for work, they also trained the new and young engineers consistently. I was able to get a full experience of construction in the time I was there and I implore anyone who wants to dive right into high intensity work to do so. The hours are 50 minimum a week and thats just when the project is new or you are estimating in the head office. Most of the time when construction is in full swing, hours will range from 60-80 hours a week. They have many resources and connections that you can potentially use to create your own construction or work strategies and plans."
"I was hired as a superintendent, if you know Kiewit they don't do that at all. I always felt like an outsider. once the project was over my only offer was in Minnesota. I turned it down. I put in 14 months 6 and 7 12s. I moved on locally."
"The company and projects are over staffed making the job difficult. If you enjoy being micromanaged this the plane for you"
"Great company to work for. Schedules can be hectic, but overall a great environment."
"Preach Safety and all that goes out of the window on site. Whatever it takes to get the job done. Numerous Safety Violations and general disregard for the employees. Way too much construction politics"
"Good place to grow a career."
