What do you like about working at Kraft Foods?

"In truth, precious little these days. The employees are overworked and under-appreciated. This is true in the last two years. The culture has become just miserable."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Stay away from this company until the end of 2013 after new management has taken over and initiated their own culture, then do your homework to see how the culture has changed. It's like poison right now. Even the most cheerful employees are giving up and just ticking off the days."

What don't you like about working at Kraft Foods?

"Senior Management. A leader on the executive team was overheard saying that all of the administrators on the North Shore are worthless. Another member of the executive team was overheard saying that administrators don't know anything. For all administrators to be so wretched, they either do a lousy job hiring or a lousy job developing them."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would focus on creating the best product possible and forget about the shareholder. If you care about your consumer and giving them a quality product, the shareholder value will follow. I would develop employees - all employees, and I would not put leaders in charge when they only know how to manage process and not people. I would hold senior management accountable for their spending. I would curate a culture of development and innovation and being an employer of choice would matter. I would not allow prima donna syndrome to infiltrate senior management and employees would vote on their raises."
