Project Engineer
in Fredericksburg, VA

What do you like about working at Lockheed Martin?

"Policy oriented."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask the question about having a one on one communication line with your immediate Manager. Ask how long your Manager has been with LM and what proper steps it took for you to progress to be a level 6."

What don't you like about working at Lockheed Martin?

"Good old boy network, new employees come in through good old boy network and you have to train them. I have a Master Degree in Network Security and a few of the programs that I worked on the Deputy Directors and Managers did not have a degree at all. I am from Mississippi and the killing that happen in 2003; I still carry that burden but LM is a good old boy network with bad Managers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be fair and when you tell people that LM honor degrees and you bring White Men that does not have degrees. The decision should be across the board. Senior Managers should have degrees but it is not the case with LM."
