"The thing I love the most is being able to develop the skill sets required to be a strong leader. Especially working with a start-up I was able to experience what works and what doesn't. I love being able to lead and inspire a team, but at the same time learn from one another. I love being a resource and being able to offer help with training techniques when someone on my team is inspired to learn.
The thing I hate about being a marketing manager is giving my team the impression that I'm bossing them around. I understand that taking the managerial role means managing the team, but some people just take it the wrong way. I like to have my team set their own expectations up front, then hold them accountable to each task, because this is the best way to grow."
