"Great client with good work environment"
"great place to work - good people and good benefits"
"I've worked for MetLife since 2007. I have personally experienced a culture of inclusiveness, diversity and a strong drive on development from within. I believe MetLife operates with good ethical values and a concern for society which is evident through its offerings of affordable products and services that reach many low-middle income individuals and disadvantaged populations. MetLife has a long history of responsible and impact investing with a focus on Green Investments, Impact Investments & Affordable Housing, Infrastructure and Municipal Bonds. At the end of 2018 these responsible investments totaled $52.6 billion dollars. MetLife is committed to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and is a signatory to the SDGs. MetLife is also a signatory to the UN PRI and the UN GICC Gender Innovation Principals. Most recently our CEO became a signatory for Catalyst CEO Champions for Change which is a group of 60+ CEOs pledging to advance more women into all levels of leadership."
"very nice place to work for, good compensation, and good people. I really enjoy the collaboration and the energy"
"An overall good place to work."
"I worked for MetLife for about 4 years. The people are great...there's a MetLife niceness that keeps things from moving as quickly as they could. Great benefits, but it can be hard to navigate a career path here though it's a huge global org. Not many leaders are committed to leading well or coaching or mentoring. There's more focus on numbers and results than anything else. Old old systems."
"Metlife is in a transition phase going from national to global and from old methodologies to new. Though there are a lot of legacy processes and technologies in Metlife as a whole, the operations in Cary that I see are mostly committed to the future. The work-life balance is one of the best, comparable to my time at SAS."
"I've worked for MetLife for the last 11 months and honestly I loved each day of it, my co-workers and I have a great connection and we work together all as a team and have accomplished so much. The office environment is to anybody's taste and I would highly recommend MetLife to any professional worker looking for a career."
"I have been on contract with MetLife for the past 2 years as a Sr. Infrastructure Project Lead. I was hired for the Lotus Notes migration to Microsoft O365 and Microsoft Lync for approx 1500 LOB users. Although this was a great experience, and loved the co-workers, I needed more of a challenge."
"MetLife is an exceptional organization that is filled with talented, dedicated, and... well... really good people. The headquarters at 1095 Avenue of the Americas has fantastic views of the city and especially of Bryant Park, which is a nice little perk."
"Very good during my internship."
"I worked at MetLife for 8 years moving up in the company at a slow but steady pace. I left because MetLife had moved out of California, otherwise I'd still be working there."
