"Microsoft is a great place to work."

What do you like about working at Microsoft?

"I like my manager, the people, and many of my clients. I run a virtual team of people whom I consider to be quite talented."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Understand the balance and expectations on scorecard metrics versus revenue production in all sales roles. The company is highly driven by scorecards, and I feel sometimes that they blind the business from its revenue attainment goals."

What don't you like about working at Microsoft?

"The year-over-year growth in the public sector has been challenging. For the amount of revenue that we are expected to generate, the marketing budget and financial support is less than .1% of our quota."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Consider expanding your resources in the public sector to support the business more like that which it assigns to EPG/private sector business segments."
