"I’ve worked with OUSD since 2018, and have a passion for serving youth in Oakland. OUSD has a lot of potential but there needs to be more organization, and realistic support for staff and educators to do the job they’re called to do. It was a nice run, and I still have every intention to give back to the student when I’m in a better position to do so."

These metrics include deadlines for progress reports, goals for education plans and weekly support service hours. I'm proud of the fact that I have met or exceeded these goals and deadlines since I've been here. I love the fact that I have support from parents, teachers and other educational leaders to reach these goals with various professional development opportunities and mentorship from veteran teachers.
