"I became employed at Panera Bread while living in Jacksonville FL and taking my first full-stack web development Bootcamp. As a delivery driver, I was not only responsible for taking orders and confirming their accuracy as they left the cafe, but also general cafe upkeep, such as running food to customers in the cafe, making sure the floors and drink stations were clean, and making myself available to customers should they need something. Panera Bread was a fantastic place to work with an extremely welcoming environment and management that always had time for everybody."
"Motivating place to work in."
"A very fulfilling and rewarding experience that gave me the latitude to lead and support a team. I was able to create tactics to execute the company Key Initiatives while managing at the speed of change."
"It is a great company to work for. Fantastic benefits and good pay."
"Panera has a nice atmosphere with great management. Lots of mobility to move around and experience different teams."
"I really enjoyed my time working as a Baker for Panera Bread under the Covelli Enterprises franchise. The only reason I left the position was that the position was from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, and while working those hours wasn't an issue, it was the scheduling conflicts that arose during the day that posed the greatest issue. I loved working for my supervisor and I enjoyed the duties of the job. Being a baker was fun and I had no major issues with the position."
"Panera bread makes many promises to its employees but keeps a few! I was promised a salary and advancement opportunities but when I asked for those I was illegally fired."
"Just a poorly run company. Poor management, poor scheduling. Always running out of things."
"Panera Bread is micromanaged by markets. Each market chooses advancement by means of lawsuits filed by employees who have proven injustice done to them. I see this as wrong and do not want to follow suit in this kind of procedure."
"I have worked with Panera Bread since 2010. The workplace environment has been discouraging when opportunities to advance, if any, are available. Positions are given to the employees whom file lawsuits because of pure frustrations caused by an unqualified management team."
"My review is site specific. There was various things broken hindering our job performance as well as a treatment from managers that was unprofessional. I would not recommend unless your self esteem is impenetrable."
"This was a very good company to work for and I would refer people to it."
"I started working for Panera to get a full time and possible career. After working here I now see that I have no other positions here that I would want to do. I am a hands on guy and using a keyboard is put bandages on issues and getting yelled at for doing my job is not ideal."
"I've worked with the company since I was in high school. The turnover of employees is very high, but once you have a good team, Panera is a great place to work. They also give opportunities to move up in the company."
