"Compensation is competitive, though geared somewhat towards yearly bonuses based on personal, team, and corporate performance. The higher you go in the company, the more heavily your compensation is weighted towards the bonus. As a senior firmware engineer with 9 years at the company, 10% of my target salary is based on bonus.
We generally receive yearly merit raises of around 1% to 3% of base salary, depending on personal performance and the amount of money available. Only once in the past nine years we missed our regular raise, and even this we received six months later."

"The pay rate was fair, but I felt limited by the access to certain internal resources that I would have been able to better my skill set and provide better solutions while improving a cohesive image employees can feel good about, and be proud of their contributions."

"I am paid well. I work extremely hard, long hours, but that is my own choice, it is not demanded or expected. The benefits are good, bonus is good, stock ownership options are good. I would prefer more variable pay that is representative of my contribution."
