"Good job, good people and management is really top notch. Good pay, good benefits, boss listens to my ideas and implements them. No cons, really. Also really like working in Berkeley. Close to BART, the freeway, Amtrak, the freeway, walk to shops and food, brewery nearby. Highly, Highly, Highly recommended."
"I was dismissed from Siemens Medical after refusing overtures from my supervisor. He would ask to see me outside of work to get together at night or on weekends. More than once, he would touch my hand. He had given me a satisfactory performance review and then began petitioning me for outside get togethers. When I refused, he made false claims about performance issues."
"Okay place to work. Engineers can be annoying."
"I have worked for Siemens Healthcare for one year. It's a great company. I enjoy the challenges and the relationships that I have developed and improved over the course of my first year."
"I worked for Siemens for 8 years. The company was good until recently with the latest round of reorgs. Unfortunately, it seems that there is a change every 2-3 years, which isn't helping anyone other than management from Germany. The pay is decent, but is it worth the lack of knowing what is going on?"
"I worked as an intern for almost a year and I felt it was a good company to work for."
"Great company. Too much travel, though."
"It's a good company. Unfortunately, it is too big."
"Great company to work and the staff very professional."
"I have worked in a world class environment."
"I am working here since March 2014 as an external consultant for my company. Siemens is one of the best companies in the world. My company made an agreement with Siemens that I should not join Siemens. I worked in Siemens Wind Power, Denmark also."
"I have been working with Siemens for the past 9+ years. It is awesome experience, I learned a lot. Unfortunately due to management decision, they don't motivate the people in the team who work in healthcare project."
"I have worked for Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics for about 2 years. Throughout this time, I have felt quite a large disconnect between management and the "grunts". I work with scientists and engineers and have found those people to be very supportive and fun to work with. Management seems to live in a different world and care very little about anything but the bottom line. As a contractor looking to become a full time employee, it's been very frustrating to be overlooked while other positions are being filled. All of peers have recognized my valuable contributions and yet here I remain; outside looking in."
"Brilliant management, always encourage new ideas, ample opportunity to grow. Management never shys away to compliment. They don't micro manage and let you get on with your responsibilities."
"Siemens is a fabulous company, overall. Building Technologies is a very interesting and successful part of the Siemens family. From a Marketing and Communications perspective, there are great challenges to perform well. Budgets have been slashed, and technologically, the company is years behind. Still working with IE 10 and Sharepoint 2011 (this is a challenge because I am responsible for maintaining the intranet). Recent reorganizational changes should be helpful, but the work setting is unfriendly and not happy. 70 hour work weeks are common."
