"I've worked for the United States Air Force since 2011 and it has given me the leadership and managerial skills that I wouldn't be able to find on the civilian side. I joined because it was something bigger than me and with a greater purpose. This has been one of the best decisions I have ever made."

"Civil service is not for everyone. It wasn't for me at WPAFB, I enjoy being hands on and technical, and having some creative control over my work. This job had excellent perks, but I did not have enough creative outlet. Communication and collaboration is always a problem in defense related environments, and USAF is no exception. The greatest confounder, however, is the lack of work done in house."
