"USPS is a great job and has good pay and benefits but it is very fast paced, stressful and highly physical. The training on how to life properly needs to be better addressed as there are a lot of work related injuries within the Postal Service. I love my job with the Postal Service but am needing something less physical as I had back surgery that resulted from a work related injury two years ago."

"I have worked for the Postal Service for 3 years and I have found that it has a wonderfully massive variety of employees. Working with such varied types of people has given me the opportunity to learn so much and expand my horizon."

"The benefits and a few good people who I work with daily."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you have nothing else going on for you, then this is the job. Otherwise, run."

What don't you like about working at US Postal Service?

"This job is too micromanaged. The job is the same every day, but management still feels the need to stress, criticize, and belittle workers. USPS workers need autonomy and given more credit for the work they do and for most of them, have done for many, many years."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Show respect to my workers and actually have the skills and knowledge for my job."

"I like nothing. Too repetitive, too political, and people become institutionalized."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Run far, far away. Unless you barely passed High School and have no other career ambitions, then this job is for you!"

What don't you like about working at US Postal Service?

"Nothing is good about working at the Postal Service. You can't even go the restroom without management trying to hunt you down."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would cut out the Union and hire people who actually have the skill-set needed to be a leader. Management is extremely unprofessional, self-serving, and not professional in any aspect of their job."
