"I worked for a year as a BA. As a BA you are expected to meet sales goals with incentives ranging from 5 cents to $5, usually about 10 cents a product. My direct coworkers were nice, but the higher up managers are ridiculous. They change sales goals, mandatory tasks and other things almost every week. They held BA meetings where they gave us selling advice, some good but mostly bad. Walgreens loves extreme couponer's business at the expense of employee abuse/getting behind on other tasks."
"I have been with Walgreens for about 9 years. This company was GREAT to work for but now it's all about how much profits we can make on a shoe string budget. We can't last with a thought process like this."
"I'm so glad to be done with this hellish place. If you value your time don't waste it here. Poor excuse for a job. I hated every minute I spent in this place, my fake smile eventually wore off."

"I have been with Walgreens for just over 5 years. Recently I was able to get a promotion to a shift lead. While the job is easy I think the stress comes from ensuring the customers stay happy. At times some customers can get unruly, but this is not the company's fault."
"Walgreens has lots of opportunities and is a great company - one of the best retail pharmacies out there. I would recommend it to anyone."
"I worked for Walgreens for seven months, and from that time I learned the importance of doing your job, working hard, following rules and directions, and always looking to improve. This job teaches a person how to work well with others, as well as the importance of dedication."
"I've worked for Walgreens since 2008. It's not a bad part time or starting job but it's not the kind of place I would like to stay at."
