"II was so excited for the opportunity to work with Zions, even after the nonexistent embarrassing onboarding process. I was willing to dig and figure out all of the systems you need to operate in my role. You are passed from one person to the next to get your questions answered. You are left to guess where to go for answers, just to do your job. Your commissions can be docked for performance when submitting a loan application to processing, this is written in comp agreement, but no training is provided for this "Gate Keeper" performance system, nor does manager know or explain how to avoid getting your comp docked, you're once again passed along to someone they "think" can help you. Once you do get a loan submitted, oh boy, be ready for another unorganized challenge. You will be asked for multiple documents that you've already provided, multiple times. You will have to go back to your borrower/customer multiple times, which makes you and your company incompetent. You will be bogged down and overwhelmed with backend processing/assistant tasks, that is all you will have time to do with the system in place. You will have Limited opportunity to focus on building your business and being productive. It's damage control with your referral partners, customers/clients. If you end up deciding to separate from Zions be prepared to loose out on commissions for loans you worked on to the finish line. Zions is not willing to pay their exiting employees on loans they worked on to the finish line, and it’s not addressed in compensation agreement. Be cautious about a commission position at this company, they will fight you rather than compensate you on work you’ve done. don’t work a commission position and try to leave, you won't get paid. Sad way of treating employees or people in general. Could be a great place to work for mortgage loan officers, unfortunately I would stay away. Word is already out, this brand cannot close on-time and does not treat customers."
