"The company itself is not really an issue for me as it is, that I just don't enjoy making slot games. They bore me to death which is causing me not to be focused and do a good job, which in turn is getting me bad employee reviews. The slot industry has its quirks and perks, and you really need to decide early on if you like it or not. If you don't like it, get out fast because this industry is federally regulated and has no room for mistakes."
"I've worked for IGT for a little under 2 years. The pros to working here include a normal 40 hour work week, with overtime being rare, average pay, and decent benefits (401K, medical, dental, vision, etc). The cons: Politics. HR policies that makes it difficult to transfer within the company. And a company policy of letting departments decide when to upgrade equipment. Therefore some departments elect to keep employees working with five year old computers that barely work."
