The collaborations and partnerships we create with other people through different programming is top notch and I could not recommend this position more. "I have worked for Purdue University since 2010. I have worked as a teaching assistant for freshman engineering courses such as matlab and catia, I have worked as a research student for my structures professor and mostly worked as a team leader for my NASA design challenge. There are a lot of opportunities at Purdue University and I loved my years as an undergraduate."
"I have worked in other places at the University and they are excellent places to work. The School of Engineering and Technology, though, is a horrible place to work. You will be given responsibilities and then have your hands tied behind your back, questioning whether you really had those responsibilities. The expectation is that you work 90-100 hours per week, and that you live there. You are penalized when you aren't. Violent and threatening behavior is ignored. It is a bad place to work."
"Purdue does a lot to provide employment for students, especially for students in STEM disciplines."
