"I've worked for Schlumberger since 2006 and have always been treated fairly. The ability to advance is highly dependent on meeting objectives and completing milestones. I have been offered many opportunities and worked with some excellent people and under the merit bonus/raise system. I do recommend this company."

"I have worked for Schlumberger over 3 years now, in a very challenging task from all aspects, working for long hours, a hard physical job, and yet you're supposed to be a fully aware of you software programming keeping calm in executing your job, and handling the client needs, and reporting to your management on hourly basis, is executing your job, to avoid any mistakes that cost us or the client a lot of money and time, to repair any. I have learned a lot since I joined the company, and for this I am grateful."

"The company is an oil support company that provides services, personnel, and data support to oil companies. This company is worldwide and feels like it. Sadly, there seems to be many hands and not enough communication. My experience was rather abrupt and I was given no real reason why my contract was terminated nor was I given a chance to correct any issues that may have led to my termination."

"Schlumberger is by far the biggest company you have never heard of. With over 80,000+ employees world wide, Schlumberger got to where it is by not only delivering excellent quality of service, but always making sure it takes care of its employees. It is the only company in the world where you are EXPECTED to get a raise and promotion, and if you do not, they will make sure they push you to achieve it and always continue to progress in your career. Schlumberger takes care of its people!"

"I've worked for Schlumberger for 3 years now and ready to move out of the field. Schlumberger is a very challenging company to work for but is great for training and hands on experience. Work-Life balance is what gets me the most and I am ready to live a steady life without being constantly interrupted from my supervisor."

"I worked for Schlumberger for 4 years, beginning with no experience in the oil and gas industry. Schlumberger saw my potential, and with the help of onsite and company sponsored training, I was able to advance and build a career that I loved. This company is based upon safety and that is very important to me. I looked forward to going to work everyday at Schlumberger, Hobbs."

"I have worked for Schlumberger for 12 years. They are one of the leaders in the oilfield industry. Overall this is a great company to work for. The benefits are great. Unfortunately they will be moving our branch to Singapore. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to be mobile in their job. Schlumberger offers lots of options to be mobile and extend your career and move up in the company."

"It is a good company to raise money quickly doing something that can be interesting. Just don't get stuck on the field for more than 3 years, save your money and then move to the office or change career, but do not get stuck in the field, there are more things to do in life."
