"There are many opportunities, the campus has pools and various activities we can get involved with."

"They do not pay very well, but it is a secure place to work and there are lots of health benefits. The toughest part is the pay: living in Los Angeles is more expensive than what you earn."

What don't you like about working at UCLA?

"They do not allow much freedom. I have a plethora of skills and interests, but they are often stymied or not used in my current position."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I'm much for focused on encouraging people to work harder and accept more responsibility. I feel that hard work is not encouraged, and that doing extra work or working in other departments is discouraged."

"Hire managers that had direct experience in the areas they managed and give them the time to manage their people rather than giving them extra work on top of managing. Stop cutting costs to save money, only to realize that cheap products don't add value. Eliminate competitiveness and back stabbing within the organization, replaced by teamwork."
