"Siemens Comm was sold in 2008. It is effectively closed."
What do you like about working at Siemens?
"I had a great deal of responsibility with equal authority. Co-workers, Field Staff and customers were EXCELLENT!"

"Other US divisions of Siemens AG remain open in the US. Few are stable presently."
What don't you like about working at Siemens?
"Despite having a vitual monopoly in the US, Siemens AG could not adapt to US ways and made serious marketing errors . Top management was investgated by the German Police and serverl board members sent to jail for embezzlement."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Focus on the product and listen to the customer. Correct complaints not just mollify them."

"That they didn't have an opening in the IT department when I graduated. Oh well."

"Management sometimes contradicts itself, and it becomes a bit hard at times to figure out what reallly needs to be done and when"

"I liked the challenge of performing the job. It was a very busy environment that required many hours."

"The pace of the projects was very fast. The outcome was successful; however, I feel like we could have had more benefit if more time was allowed."

"It's great to know that such absurdity (poor mgt skills) still exist."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Go there if you ONLY need the job. If you do get hired try to get out ASAP. However, if you are a social butterfly and fit in the group (you will know very quickly) then you will be fine. Don't make teh GROUP GET MAD AT YOU--YOU ARE DOOMED!!!!"

"A very close group; if you do not fit: the employees (senior/who have been there longer) can make life very STRESSFUL AND DIFFICULT. Over whelming ABUSE that is often unnecessary"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Monitor their employees more carefully; excessive waste of company time talking about shows (ie you don't need to watch the popular TV shows, it will be discussed extensively the next day). Poor management; they brought in consultants and only selected employees are interviewed. I see no line of succession. When one or two dies there goes the company."
